Head of Information Technology - EPSOM, AUCKLANDA rare leadership opportunity to be a part of a growing and innovative team, working for an established events and catering company ensuring technology support is world-class across the different business units, delivering business continuity across the group companies.Lead a team of enthusiastic IT and Project professionals, dedicated to solving problems, mitigating risk and focusing on supporting the use of technology as an enabler through collaboration and education and outstanding customer service.Showcase your strategic leadership skills, promoting operational excellence with your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.This is a full-time role based in Epsom and will require you to manage a team split across Auckland and Waikato offices. The right person for this role will have proven experience in reviewing and optimising costs, bringing a team together and solving problems to the highest standards of quality and performance.Duties will include:Taking responsibility for Information technology business workloads and priorities ensuring company and customer requirements are met as well as hardware and software contract, database and management.Manage and escalate any significant technology roadblocks for the team and business.Develop a risk management strategy for Information Technology Services, addressing potential challenges such as cybersecurity threats, technology obsolescence and regulatory changes.Regularly review and optimise costs, ensuring that IT expenditures align with business objectives and provide value for money.Implement agile methodologies in project management to enhance flexibility and responsiveness to changing business needs.About You:5+ years' experience in an IT Project Management and service delivery role.Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.Proven experience with Computers and Networks.Excellent Project Management experience with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.Full New Zealand driver licence (preferred) and access to a reliable vehicle.Proficient in using support helpdesk, project management and collaboration tools.Expert knowledge of the following products:Microsoft Office 365 & Exchange Administration.SharePoint and Teams Management.Azure and On-Prem AD cloud services.PowerBI and Power Apps.Point of Sale Systems.Cyber Security best practices.About Us:Montana Group is NZ's largest privately owned catering company with industry-leading experience in multiple areas across Waikato and Auckland.
