Job SummaryQuality Assurance Coordinator is a key role working within the Quality Team, looking after Food Safety and Quality objectives.We are currently seeking to appoint a QA Coordinator at our Taura site in Mount Maunganui.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role requires you to support the site through maintaining, coordinating and monitoring the site's Quality Management System, conducting internal & external audits, while helping to drive our commitment to deliver quality products to meet our customer's expectations.This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, honest, and adaptable team player who is seeking advancement in their career and add real value to our Mount Maunganui facility.Key Responsibilities Will IncludeProviding assistance to the Quality and Compliance Team to enhance raw material approvalOngoing assurance including food safety documentation, traceability and staff trainingDocumentation approval, raw material verification and stock managementPerforming GMP Inspections, Internal Audits, Validation & Verification activities both in and out of the factory environmentDevelop, improve and optimise the business systems to support continuous improvement activitiesDevelop, improve and optimise the site Food Safety ProgrammeTo Be Successful In This RolePrevious experience in a similar role within the food industry including quality controlProficient in ExcelExperience in the Essential Oils, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical, Health & Personal Care or Food & Beverage Industry highly desirableAn understanding of GMP and HACCP principlesA commitment to the principles of food safety and drive to uphold those principlesAttention to detail, with clear and accurate documentation skillsA disciplined, proactive approach to timelines and compliance to proceduresMost importantly, we are seeking an outstanding team player who is smart, enthusiastic, has a "can do" attitude, and wants to work for a business where they can make a differenceBenefits & CultureAttractive remuneration, bonus and benefits including both Southern Cross Healthcare and Income Protection Insurance through AONBenefits also include Wellness Leave and Health ReimbursementsCommitment to diversity & inclusion, equal opportunity and the environmentAbout The BusinessTaura Natural Ingredients, is a subsidiary of International Flavours and Fragrances (IFF).
