Food Safety and Quality Technician

We are seeking an energetic, innovative and proactive professional to join our highly motivated and passionate Food Safety and Quality Team.
This exciting role will be involved with the daily food safety and quality processes to ensure all ZIWI manufactured products meet the established standards of food safety and quality.
**The roles and responsibilities include**:
- Routine review of daily production data results to confirm product is suitable to be released in a timely manner.
- Carry out post manufacture product quality assessment and investigate any non conformances.
- Check and ensure integrity of production data and information
- Participate in the sites Internal and External audit program.
- Liaise with MPI and assist with the administration of the Risk Management Program.
- Coordinate and complete internal calibration of testing equipment.
- Comply with all H & S, environmental and food safety processes and policies.
- Participate in the Validation program.
**The person we are seeking will have**:
- Proven track record with a minimum of three years in a similar QA role, preferably within an FMCG/food production environment - relevant tertiary qualification an advantage
- Sound knowledge of Animal Product E-cert certification system would be desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Technical understanding and practical commercial experience
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of RMP, food safety and HACCP systems
- A collaborative hands-on approach and can positively influence change across all levels
- Experience in Continuous Improvement would be advantageous
