This position is mainly outpatient based but can also occur in the community or within Intermediate Care Team clinic or unit.In this role you will work closely with the Physiotherapists in the rehab team as well as other AH teams including Intermediate Care teams.
This position will have the ability to flex to where the rehab caseload demand is and as such offers a lot of variety and learning opportunities.The client group is varied and includes neurological, vestibular, amputee rehab and other conditions.You will need to have:Vestibular training or experienceA passion for rehab and desire to continue learningProblem solving approachFamiliar with workshop machinery and fabrication processExcellent communication skills to work with other staff and patientsExcellent computer skillsDesire for ongoing learningCurrent APC (NZ registered)Current valid work Visa allowing you to live and work in NZImproving, promoting, protecting and caring for the health and wellbeing of the people of Taranaki.We are looking for people that share our vision by providing the best care for our people and our community.
