The Opportunity; We're looking for a tech-savvy, proactive, and people-focused professional to help roll out our new transport scheduling system across our depots, nationally.
This role is pivotal in the successful rollout and implementation of the Hastus scheduling system and operations system across the organisation.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in implementing a cutting-edge scheduling system, training frontline teams, and ensuring smooth adoption across the business.
This is an important opportunity for an individual that values being a change maker and taking responsibility for the rollout of Hastus.
You will have strong project management skills, and the ability to train and support staff at various levels.
You will also manage our relationship with the Hastus vendor (Giro), ensuring that the system meets the operational needs of the business and that any issues are promptly resolved.
No prior Hastus experience needed – we'll train you About Us; Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand's leading passenger transport companies with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country.
We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public.
You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies' history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.
About You; You're a tech-savvy person with strong training and coaching ability.
You're able to think on your feet and drive solutions with your great problem-solving attitude.
You pride yourself on your eye for detail and your time management skills.
You're a great team player and can communicate with a variety of people and groups in a manner that is concise and easy to understand.
You take health and safety seriously and are an advocate for its importance.
You're willing to travel across New Zealand to support our rollout- we have Depots from Kaitaia to Gore.
Your Skills; Proven experience of leading system implementations.Self-starterStrong vendor management skills, including contract negotiation and relationship management.Ideally a tertiary qualification in IT or similarStrong communicatorProficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.Interest in public transportHealth and safety savvyWhat you get; The opportunity to make this role your ownSupportive leadership teamHelp shape the future of public transport operationsTravel across NZ- working directly with our Depot teamsWant to learn more?
