They are a privately owned business going through an exponential phase of growth due to their extreme customer experience mindset, combined with a focus on disrupting their industry through the use of cutting-edge technology and innovation.The RoleYes Group is seeking an experienced, energetic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to work closely with the Group CEO in shaping their financial and operational strategy in-turn helping them achieve their significant growth targets. This role is ideal for a highly driven finance leader looking to make a tangible impact by improving processes and systems, steering financial excellence, and supporting growth initiatives, including M&A activities. The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, risk, and compliance while collaborating on commercial and strategic projects with the executive team.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Group CEO and leadership team on key strategic and commercial initiativesLead M&A activities, including due diligence and integration of acquisitionsOversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and regular reportingLead and manage the ANZ finance team, ensuring strong financial performance and efficiencyDrive process and systems improvements to enhance financial and operational performanceManage risk and compliance across ANZ, ensuring all regulatory requirements are metManage external party relationships (banks, auditors, insurers etc.)About YouWe are looking for a seasoned CFO who brings energy and enthusiasm, a commercial and strategic mindset with experience in the import and distribution sector or similar environments (FMCG, wholesale etc.). The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with a strong background in financial and operational improvement and a proven ability to partner strategically with senior leadership. Experience with M&A is highly desirable. You must be someone who has played a key role in a business that has gone through a significant growth phase.Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated experience as a CFO or in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within the import, distribution, wholesale or FMCG sectorExperience within a high volume and high customer base environmentExperience in developing and executing on long-term strategic initiativesProven success in process and system improvements to drive financial and operational efficiencyStrong technical accounting knowledge (ideally trained in a large professional services firm)Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skillsWhat's on OfferAs well as there being a competitive remuneration package on offer, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape the financial future of a successful, growing organization in a dynamic sector.
