In this role, you'll report directly to our Sr. Director of Operations, Logistics, & Systems.
You will be responsible for the outbound movement of our products from third party warehouses/distribution centers to customers while maintaining system integration integrity, optimizing order fulfillment in the ecommerce, marketplace, and business-to-business channels, identifying and driving cost saving opportunities, and ensuring service level agreements are achieved.
You'll also manage transportation and fulfillment related costs, and drive supply chain optimization.The right person for this role is adept at working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (finance, retail, marketing), and can also be the face of our Operations team when working with external partners such as distribution center teams, retailers, and suppliers.At Starface, we're caring, joyful, bold, and resilient.

If you are an operations and logistics professional with experience in the CPG space, and all of this resonates with you so far, please keep readingwe'll count on you toDistribution Center ManagementServe as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for our distribution center (DC) partners, with a focus on outbound logistics (shipping to retailers)Cultivate relationships with DC stakeholders, including preparing and conducting weekly standing meetings and other meetings as necessaryDevelop DC performance scorecard to monitor and manage performanceEnsure on-time order fulfillment for all trade partner and sales channel accounts under role scope, delivering best in class service for all trade partnersDevelop and implement business review process and conduct business reviews as neededPartner with Finance to ensure procedural compliance for inventory, warehouse operations, and fulfillment & transportation costsTravel to attend physical inventory counts at DCs to ensure the count is executed according to the procedure 2x per yearOperations Order Fulfillment & Process Optimization:Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), vendor guidelines, routing guides, and all other reference/training documentsSupport the further development of operations & logistics best practices, tools, and processes across outbound flows to optimize efficiency and department performanceAnalyze and model scenarios to optimize our operational engine, helping to further develop, measure, and meet KPIs and goals, including chargeback analysis and claims management for all retail partnersDrive continuous improvements to the 3PL warehouse fulfillment processes to decrease costs, increase fulfillment turnaround time, and ensure on time delivery in fullAct as logistics and operations point person for supplier and retailer onboarding activitiesSupport and/or lead department projects as needed to support business activityMonitor all error reports and address any system errors and anomalies that impact daily operations; develop error resolution KPIsIdentify training needs within the Logistics and Operations department and create training materials to strengthen expertise across the departmentParticipate in User Acceptance Training (UAT) for systems' updates or add-onsDevelop an understanding of inbound logistics and provide backup/secondary support as neededthis role is for you ifYou have 5+ years of experience working in supply chain, logistics, and/or operations within the CPG space across both DTC/ecommerce and brick and mortar retailersYou have strong 3PL warehouse/distribution center management experience and B2B order management experienceYou have a thorough understanding of supply chain operational concepts around production planning, purchasing, inventory control, freight logistics, 3PL warehouse operations, and shipping/receivingYou have demonstrable knowledge of warehouse management systems, ERP systems (NetSuite experience is ideal), system error troubleshooting, and advanced Excel capabilitiesYou are data-driven with strong quantitative skills and ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable steps to drive business decisionsYou are able to work independently and own your workstream, and can share examples of how you've identified and solved crucial problems, taking action quicklyYou have a proven track record of successfully working within a fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative, start-up environment both independently and cross-functionally, as well as balance long term business goals with short term needsYou are able to travel up to 20% for physical inventory, team offsites, and special projectssalary & benefitsThe compensation range for this role is a $90,000-$110,000 base depending on level of experience, as well as bonus eligibility and company stock options.Additional benefits include:Access to high-quality health care optionsAccess to a 401k with 5% employer match eligibility4 weeks of vacation plus up to 20 paid holidays12 weeks fully paid parental leave+ 5 days of pet-ernity leave for pet adoptionHome office & internet supplement stipendFully remote work environment...and much, much moreStarface is an Equal Opportunity Employer where the spirit of inclusion feeds into everything that we do.
