We're looking for a dynamic and driven Safety, Health, and Environment Manager to join our global team.
In this pivotal role, you will support our New Zealand & Fiji branches to achieve top-tier safety and environmental performance.
Work closely with line management and SHE Business Partners, and help shape a culture that prioritises the well-being of all employees.What You'll Do: Develop, implement, and maintain effective SHE management systems to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies, and best practices.
Provide expert advice to senior leadership on all SHE matters, and lead efforts to continuously improve safety performance.
Mentor and guide SHE Business Partners, ensuring they can effectively execute SHE responsibilities in alignment with Rentokil Initial's systems.
Drive engagement and create a culture of service, teamwork, responsibility, and relationship-building across all levels of the business.
Lead and support the risk assessment process, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and controlled across various sites.
Oversee and promote SHE learning programs to ensure all employees are trained to work in a safe and compliant manner.
Prepare and communicate detailed SHE reports to management, including compliance and performance metrics.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate SHE processes into daily operations.
What You'll Need: A passion for safety, health, and the environment.
Proven experience in a Health and Safety management role, with a deep understanding of SHE regulations.
Health and Safety qualifications/certifications (ISO accreditation experience is a plus).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
High organizational skills, with a sharp attention to detail and a proactive approach.
A confident leader, ready to inspire and motivate teams to achieve SHE excellence.
