This is a newly established role that will play a crucial role in enabling the Development Unit to deliver on its purpose: to provide the capacity, capability and expertise across the full development lifecycle to enable successful business change through the delivery of transformation and development initiatives.As a Development Delivery lead, you will blend your technical expertise, project management experience and stakeholder engagement skills to lead and support business-driven development initiatives.
These initiatives will vary in nature; some may have a focus on adopting new technologies, others may have a strong focus on improving our data and statistics offering to customers.What We're Looking For:A minimum of 9 years of experience working on development projects, with a proven track record of successful delivery.Expertise in the full development lifecycle, from development planning, development execution, to testing and deployment.Experience leading and mentoring development teams, ensuring effective project execution.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging both technical and business audiences.Familiarity with Te Tiriti, Tikanga, Te Ao, and Te Reo Maori.Demonstrated or encouraged diversity and inclusion in and/or outside of work.We understand transferable skills can come from experience gained from outside of work.
