Acutely aware of the interdependence between Faith, Learning and Wellbeing, our curriculum aims to naturally wed the IB Program and the values of the Good Samaritans.We currently have an Italian load available (0.79 FTE), teaching 2 X Unit 1 Italian, 1 X Y7 Italian, 1 X Y9 Italian, 1 X Y10 Italian with a shared HR and Pastoral Period.This role is across 8 days in a cycle with Monday's off.About youExperience teaching method listedDemonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong understanding of the developmental needs of adolescents and emerging young adults.Proficient in the use of ICT for communication and record keeping.Interpersonal skills appropriate to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff and parents, particularly the ability to work as a member of a team.Organisation and administrative skills appropriate for planning and preparationVIT CertificationCommitment to supporting the College's relational management and restorative practices.Maintain a positive environment which is respectful of all present and fosters student learning and motivation.Able to participate in the College's professional development activities in and out of school hours.Open to participate in the College's extra-curricular and co-curricular programs as required.Experience with Mandatory Reporting and knowledge of Child Safety expectations and standards.If you think you have the right skills, values and passion that align to Santa Maria and looking to take the next step in your career, please review our full position description below and apply now by completing the attached Application Form alongside your resume and cover letter to ****** get your applications in early.
