Our space systems business includes our extensive line of satellites and components that have enabled more than 1,700 missions including the James Webb Space Telescope, NASA Psyche Mission, Artemis I, Mars Ingenuity helicopter, and more.SUPPLY CHAINRocket Lab's Supply Chain team is responsible for the flow of all materials, products, and components through the business.
With many of our own products functioning as critical components to our own and our customers' missions, the Supply Chain team has a direct impact on the success of our rocket and satellite programs.
They set up the assembly kits that enables our technicians to put together our Electron rockets, manage inventory, look after shipping and receiving, manage direct and indirect procurement, and inspect and ensure that all of our materials and products are compliant and up to standard.
They are the chain that links our teams together, and are critical to our success.INVENTORY COORDINATOR (NIGHT SHIFT)As an Inventory Coordinator based at Rocket Lab's site in Auckland Production Complex, you will have the opportunity to support our Operations teams to achieve daily/weekly production targets including facilitating any production deviations that may require re-prioritisation.
This role will champion Supply Chain DIFOT and high customer service levels through the constant strive to receive and supply the right parts, to the right place, at the right time.
This role is working Monday to Friday, 5.00pm – 2.00am.WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:Receive inwards goods on a FIFO basis and ensure a strong focus on SOPs for processing of inwards goods are adhered.Ensure accurate and on time delivery of components and production kits in accordance with Production & Transfer Order Plans / Priorities.Pick, Pack and Dispatch.Maintain Stock point accuracy and ensure LN accurately reflects actual stock movements.YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 2 years of inventory / warehousing experience.Working in a manufacturing environment.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment & the ability to build strong working relationships.Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines and ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.WHAT TO EXPECTWe're on a mission to unlock the potential of space to improve life on Earth, but that's not an easy task.
