Buscamos un oficial de seguridad para trabajar en nuestro Centro de crisis de salud conductual en Valdosta, GA. Bajo la supervisión directa del gerente de seguridad, nuestros oficiales de seguridad son responsables de mantener un entorno seguro para los consumidores, visitantes y empleados patrullando y monitoreando las instalaciones y las personas en el lugar.
La patrulla preventiva o el servicio de inspección es el método empleado por los oficiales de seguridad para determinar que las condiciones son normales en un área determinada y para proporcionar un factor de disuasión visible.
Esta función adquiere mayor importancia por la noche al brindar una sensación de seguridad para el personal, los consumidores y los visitantes.
Mientras patrullan, los oficiales de seguridad apagan rutinariamente las luces para conservar energía.
También revisan las ventanas y las puertas para brindar una mejor protección a los ocupantes del edificio y para salvaguardar las áreas desocupadas.Una función especialmente importante de los oficiales de seguridad es su rápida respuesta a las emergencias de seguridad dentro del BHCC.
Ya sea por razones psiquiátricas o médicas, los consumidores a veces se vuelven violentos o amenazantes y los oficiales de seguridad son un miembro fundamental del equipo de respuesta.
Utilizarán técnicas de mentalidad al tratar con un consumidor durante una crisis de seguridad.Otras responsabilidades incluyen:Ayudar a los visitantes con problemas en el estacionamiento.Hacer cumplir las reglas y regulaciones de la organización cuando sea necesario.Monitorear las condiciones climáticas.Acompañar al personal durante el transporte de pacientes.Ayudar al personal de enfermería y clínico en las tareas de rutina diarias o servir como respaldo para la recepcionista del BHCC.Este puesto también tiene la posibilidad de volverse permanente.Este puesto requiere:Diploma de escuela secundaria o GED, requerido.Conocimiento de los principios y procedimientos de seguridad y aplicación de la ley, requerido.3 años de experiencia previa como oficial de seguridad, oficial de policía o funcionario penitenciario, preferiblemente en seguridad de atención médica/hospitalaria.Licencia de conducir válida, requerida.Habilidades de comunicación claras y concisas.
Debe hablar y comprender inglés para realizar este trabajo.
La capacidad de hablar y comprender español sería una ventaja.Excelentes habilidades de comunicación escrita.Capacidad para seguir instrucciones complejas.Excelentes habilidades interpersonales, incluyendo: escuchar, comunicación verbal, resolución de conflictos y desescalada.Buen juicio y control emocional.Certificación de Mindset o la capacidad de aprobar el curso de Mindset dentro del primer mes de empleo.Conocimiento de seguridad básica e inspección de incendios, uso de extintores y medidas de control de incendios.Condiciones de trabajo:Debe estar física y emocionalmente en forma para trabajar en un entorno lleno de estrés para cumplir con los plazos y lidiar con situaciones rutinarias y de crisis.
La agudeza auditiva y visual es esencial en este puesto para poder realizar una vigilancia eficaz.
Además, es imprescindible poder permanecer de pie o caminar durante largos periodos de tiempo.
Debe tener la capacidad física para participar en la respuesta a crisis y utilizar técnicas de CPI.Se trata de un entorno de trabajo de alto estrés.
La mayor parte del trabajo se lleva a cabo en un entorno con temperatura y humedad controladas, aunque los agentes de seguridad también deben poder trabajar fuera del edificio durante breves periodos de tiempo.
Puede pasar largos periodos sentado, caminando y de pie.
