Your role is to work within the team to assistnursing staff in care delivery, one-to-one patient watches and other tasks asdirected.
We have a permanent position working 0.7FTE - 56hrs a fortnight; rostered and rotating Monday to Sunday.Shift times are Morning Shift0700-1530H, Afternoon Shift 1445-2315H and Night Shift 2245-0715H.
Our team is focused on providingexcellent quality care and we are committed to improving the experience ofpatients and their whanau.About youWe are looking for people with a mature outlook, the ability to get onwith a wide variety of people and excellent communication skills.
They willalso have the ability to work in a flexible and methodical manner, demonstratehonesty and reliability, and use appropriate initiative.
Experience withinthe health sector is preferred, but is not essential as full training will beprovided.
QualificationsEssential * Year 11 NCEA level 1 English (or equivalent) * Year 11 NCEA level 1 Maths (or equivalent) * NZQA level 3 qualification (or equivalent) *Desirable * Home Carer Certificate (or equivalent) Mandatory requirement*NZQA Level 3: NewZealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing - Health Assistance Strand, ifnot previously obtained, is to be commenced onceorientations have been attended.
Thesuccessful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZvisa at the time of applying.
