OFC is looking for a Procurement Manager with a strong background in team management and a passion for improving operational efficiency to join our team, based at the Home of Football, Te Kahu o' Kiwa in Auckland, New Zealand. About the Role: As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:
Lead, manage, and develop the Procurement & Logistics team to ensure efficient implementation of OFC's procurement and logistics strategyPrepare management reports and key performance data, monitoring cost savings and procurement innovationsGenerate and implement sourcing and category management strategies while keeping up with industry trends and best practicesEnsure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legislative requirementsCollaborate with the Head of Finance and Services to implement strategies for risk reduction in procurement and logistics operationsOversee and develop:The procurement and logistics strategy and corresponding annual operational plansThe procurement and logistics annual budget, ensuring efficiency and cost optimisationStrong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient procurement processesSkills and experience: A relevant bachelor's degree qualification, and/or at least five years' experience in procurement managementExperience in procurement and knowledge of relevant related operational frameworks will be an advantageAn understanding of not-for-profit organisations is a plusExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) at an intermediate levelProven experience in developing strategy and operational plansExcellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate procurement processes effectively to a diverse audienceStrong relationship management and project management skillsThe Next Steps: Please email a cover letter attached to your resume ****** .
