That's why our people are everything to us It's our people and the magic they perform, that brings those exceptional customer experiences to life.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Counter Manager to lead our team on the luxurious Lancôme Cosmetic Counter where timeless fragrances, skincare, and makeup will transport you to a world of sheer opulence and beautyYour passion for style and beauty, along with your commitment to the highest standards of service, will ensure all your clients feel fantastic while running a demanding cosmetics counter.You will have a passion for prestigious cosmetic products, while also demonstrating high levels of energy and enthusiasm, coupled with the motivation and commitment to achieve targets. You will be a self-starter with a high standard of personal presentation and a desire to provide outstanding customer service.You will be working alongside one other team member who you will enjoy mentoring and training. You will embrace the positive culture that Ballantynes offers and create a harmonious workspace for all to grow and learn from.You will be adaptable and use your initiative to keep on top of tasks, ensuring your area is kept well-presented and stocked.Attending product training sessions to expand your knowledge is key for success.Having a good teamwork ethic, along with the flexibility to work across the cosmetics department, is essential to assist the wider team when required.QualificationsWe are looking for someone who can demonstrate:Cosmetic retail experiencePrevious leadership experienceReliable, confident, and passionate about beautyEnjoys leading a team and supporting their developmentA professional who takes pride in their standard of work and customer careAdditional InformationThis position is 38.5 hours per week, working Tuesday to Saturday.To be the successful applicant for this position, previous cosmetics retail experience with proven sales skills is essential, at Counter Manager level.Please note, we will be interviewing candidates during the application period, so the role may close earlier than the end date.Applicants must have current eligibility to work in New Zealand.
