We are proud to have recently been awarded Hawke's Bay ASB Exporter of the Year 2024.Our state of the art super kitchen in Awatoto is equipped with the latest processing technology and allows for the development of new product lines, ensuring ZIWI maintains its global leadership in the air-dried pet food category.We are seeking a skilled Production Operator with food production experience to become part of our hardworking night shift team at ZIWI. Based at the Awatoto site, this role works a 12 hour shift from 6pm to 6am on a 4 on, 4 off roster.Key responsibilities for the Production Operator include:Preparation and delivery of raw materials into production machineryOperation of production equipmentMonitoring the production process, including performing tests and checksFollowing SOPs/operational instructions and procedures, including those from Team LeadersMaintaining good personal and plant hygiene at all timesWhat we are looking for:A strong record of reliability, ideally within in food manufacturing or production process (FMCG) environmentAbility to operate a range of production equipmentExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsA health and safety champion that supports a safe and drug free workplaceA knowledge of clean down processesA reasonable level of fitness with the ability to lift up to 20kgThis is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic, rapidly growing business with a global footprint.
