Hamilton / Ngaruawahia Area Committee VolunteerHato Hone St John Area Committees exist to provide a local voice to enhance the health and wellbeing of communities across Aotearoa New Zealand.
This may include supporting existing Community Health Programmes, as well as providing ideas for exciting new initiatives that address the needs of the Community.
Requirements:
We are currently looking for people with the following attributes, skills, and experience:

A passion for the health and wellbeing of your local communitiesAn understanding or awareness of the priority of health equity and the willingness to learn and increase personal cultural competency.Existing connections within the local communityAbility to think creatively, collaboratively and work in partnership.Ability and willingness to lead a project or portfolio.Basic to medium level of computer literacyGood organizational and time-management skillsBasic to medium financial literacyA Police background check is required for this role.
Time commitment:
1 meeting per Month
Additional 3hrs per week flexibly, may vary could be less/more depending on Community Events/ Administration Tasks/ Hato Hone St John Hui's.
