This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join us at Waihi Health Centre to contribute clinical excellence and community health improvement. You will work alongside skilled colleagues, supported by dedicated medical center leadership.This is a permanent full-time position working between 40 hours across 5 days from Monday to Friday.What we can offer youOpportunities for career advancement and growthSupportive and dynamic work environmentAccess to training and professional development programsVarious discounts at retail and service providers - Including discounted Health Insurance and Gym MembershipsWe are aiming to find a passionate nurse with clinical excellence who values a supportive team environment.Do you have what we are looking for?A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)Experience in primary care setting preferredCurrent vaccinator certificate - working toward completion or currentAdded certification of ear suctioning and/or PRIME trained, an advantageYour practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.In addition to the practice nurse role, community prescriber, nurse prescriber or the willingness to engage in prescribing, is favourablePostgraduate nursing qualifications (or if you are working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditionsWilling to continually learn and improveExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.You will ideally hold a current CPR certificateImmunisation and smear taker certificates are desirable but not essentialTo apply online, click the Apply Now button below.Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
