Their commitment to excellence extends to supporting communities, protecting the planet, and fostering a culture where employees are inspired to make an impact.Who we are looking for / Requirements:Our client is seeking an experienced Inside/Outside Operator to join a small, collaborative team (2-4 people per shift) supporting Co-Gen and Boiler House operations. This role involves maintaining water treatment and steam systems, monitoring control panels, and performing rounds both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience, strong safety practices, and a background in boiler operations, water treatment, or electrical. Personal safety shoes are required; other protective gear will be provided.Basic Skills:High School diploma or GED equivalency requiredMinimum 5 years experience in a similar roleDemonstrated excellent safety performance and attendancePossess high degree of "people" skills and be able to effectively communicate with other team members daily.Candidate must be able to work on elevated work platforms, catwalks, scaffolding, etc. Enter and work in confined spaces.Able to perform Co-Gen Outside Operator duties for water treatment equipment, water chemistry, river pumps, ETP rounds, compressor rounds, & other outside rounds as necessaryAble to perform Co-Gen Inside Operator duties, including turbines, steam system, electrical systems, process air systems, and Rockwell Control System in-depthSkills:Relevant work experience in electrical Co-, Boiler House, Water Treatment processesCT OE-2 Limited Operating Engineer Journeyperson LicenseMechanical abilities a plusKnowledge of SAPOther Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities.Problem solving and decision-making skills.Motivated self-starterGood communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with many different people daily.Work with no supervision or in a team to complete work on time.Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:Be a working team member of the Co-Gen operating team – troubleshoot, adjust, and operate water treatment equipment, maintain proper water chemistry, operate river pumps, complete ETP rounds, compressor rounds, other outside rounds, and support both inside and outside operator roles as necessaryExpected to learn operation of CoGen/BoHo systems & how to effectively shutdown & start-upDemonstrate compliance with safety practices & procedures, environmental requirements, & housekeeping standards.Perform data collection & entry, and maintain report dataShutdown, start-up, and operate all outside area (WTP) equipment and inside area equipment (Co-Gen, steam system, water system, process air system, Rockwell control system)Participate in shift operations meetings & support plan of the day as assignedComplete routine maintenancePerks of working with them / What they offer:Health, dental, and vision insurance.Company 401K plan.For more information and to express interest, please contact our Recruiting team via Email: ************Above and Beyond Talent is an equal opportunity employer and staffing firm.
