You will form an integral part of the aftersales team helping to maintain high levels of customer service and efficiency in the parts department.The roleThe focus of your role will be internal parts sales though you will also be involved with handling enquiries, parts ordering and stock control, and external retail sales.Duties will include:Handling incoming enquiries from the internal workshop and retail customers (via phone and email, and face-to-face)Providing high standards of customer serviceOrdering and managing parts stockProviding parts quotes and invoicingIdentifying the correct parts for the related vehicles and providing accurate adviceSkills soughtPrior parts experience is required, preferably in a franchise dealership environmentWhile light automotive parts experience is first choice, applications from those with heavy vehicle or heavy equipment parts backgrounds will also be consideredYou must have clear communication skills (verbal and written)A commitment to exceptional customer serviceA passion for parts and the automotive industryDue to the nature of the role, you must be able to lift heavy objectsGood computer literacy including experience with a computerised parts systemMeticulous attention to detail and numerical accuracyFull, clean driver's licenceIn returnThis is an excellent opportunity with a franchise dealership where you will be able to further develop your skills and keep growing your career.Your remuneration will consist of a base salary and incentive structure and reflect your level of experience.
