We own a host of iconic brands that generations of Kiwis have grown up with and put in their supermarket trolleys every week.We are a team that believes that anything is possible, that understands our business and focuses on the right things that make the biggest difference.Some of our most iconic kiwi brands include, Meadowfresh, Puhoi Valley, Kalo, Yoplait, Natures Fresh, Vogels, Molenburg, Freyas and more.Our OpportunityWe are looking for reliable and trustworthy individuals to join our team at Auckland Freight Centre, in Penrose as Shift Leader / 2IC, who will form an integral part of the AFC Penrose team and will make a strong contribution to a high performing team and culture while maintaining high levels of safety and quality within Goodman Fielder.With sites spanning across the Australasian region our employees can fashion their own home-grown career across functions, locations and brands.Our aim is to be a destination employer in the food industry where we don't just offer jobs - we offer careers.Shift Pattern :Thursday - 3pm - 2 : 30 amFriday - 3pm - 2 : 30 amSaturday - 2 pm - 230 am Hourly rate : $33.00 - $34.00 p / h + night shift allowance Responsibilities :Pick and pack products based on customer orders and ensure accuracy in item selection and quantity.Utilize RF scanning devices or other tools to locate and retrieve products from designated storage areas.Perform random checks to ensure accuracy of picked and staged orders.Ensure that all orders are securely packed to prevent damage and staged in the correct laydown area.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including keeping pick face and packing areas tidy and free of obstacles.Collaborate with other team members and Team Leaders to meet daily KPI targets.Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.Report any discrepancies, damaged products, or inventory shortages to Team Leaders immediately.Assist with inventory counts, putaways and stock replenishment.Ensure adherence to the company's Health & Safety and quality programme (RMP) to meet legislative, industry and best practice standardsRequirements :Previous experience in a warehouse pick packing environment.Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.Familiarity with RF scanning devices or other warehouse management systems.Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Basic Microsoft office and SAP skills preferred.Forklift and reach license preferred but not essential training will be providedIf you are a reliable and motivated individual with a strong work ethic and looking to progress your career within FMCG, we invite you to apply for the position of Coolroom Night Shift Warehouse Picker / Packer.Join our friendly and supportive team to become a valued Goodman Fielder employee and contribute to our mission of providing timely and accurate order fulfillment to our valued customers.Production Assistant & Forkhoist Operator (11/07DR).
