Senior Medical Specialists to work in Intensive Care - Permanent Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, NelsonMarlborough seeks two experienced Senior Medical officers to work in our Intensive Care Unit at Nelson Hospital 2x Permanent part time 0.75FTE (60 hours a fortnight) Join a team of talented individuals who work together to make a positive difference Make a lifestyle choice - live and work in one of the most beautiful regions Nelson hospital, Nelson, New Zealand The successful candidates will Join a team of 3 Anaesthetists with Intensive Care skills and 2 Intensivists.
Participate in an Intensive Care daytime roster and an Intensive Care after-hours 1:7 on-call roster.
Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations and provide expert medical care to critical patients in the intensive care unit.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Our ICU is working towards CICM level 2 ICU accreditation.

The ideal candidates will Bring clinical expertise to a smaller provincial hospital and enjoy the lifestyle the region has to offer.
Have essential senior experience in providing Intensive Care for patients with acute, severe, and life-threatening conditions.
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate with relevant vocational scope with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Work with others to promote a cohesive team culture of collaborative practice, openness, humor, and respect across disciplines.
Demonstrate commitment to continuing medical education and professional development.
Collegiality and collaboration across all disciplines are keys to providing successful services to our patients and community.
