Work with a range of stakeholders who interact with the courtDeliver a service with high accuracy and professionalism.Exercise Deputy Registrar powers.Te Haeata/The Opportunity As a Court Registry Officer, you will work with a team responsible for the successful operation of the Court.
You will liaise with multiple stakeholders including defendants, witnesses, family members, Oranga Tamariki, Lawyers, and Police Officers.
You will be able to communicate confidently with Judges within the courtroom and their chambers, as well as other members of the judiciary.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Court Taking – facilitating the running of the court, including introducing Judges (in English and Te Reo Maori), working closely with them in the Courtroom and Chambers, managing jurors, and general administration of the court.Customer Service - working in an onsite Customer Service area or hub to answer customer queries via face to face, phone, or email interactions.Case Management – ensuring files are accurate and up to date, involving a large component of data entry.To be successful, you will need to be:

Starting salary of the successful candidate(s) will be based on their skills and experience.
