Animal Referral Centre (ARC) is a private independently owned and operated animal referral practice established in 2016. We have two modern and amazing Auckland sites – Freemans Bay, Auckland city and Albany, North Shore.
We operate a 24 hour / 7-day week operation for emergency medicine. We also have specialists in small animal surgery, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, oncology, and critical care. Hydrotherapy and dermatology are available at ARC North.
We have all the equipment you would expect in a modern referral veterinary hospital including full in-house laboratory suite with Radiometer, multiparameter patient monitors, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, underwater treadmill, mechanical ventilation, on-site CT and MRI, along with dedicated cat and dog receptions, consulting rooms and wards.

Enjoy client communication and administrative tasks Be enthusiastic about veterinary cardiology Have a good work ethic Be able to perform low stress handling Previous cardiology experience is not required as we will provide further training to the successful applicant Hours of work 80 hours per fortnight: seven 10-hour shifts in Cardiology, and one weekend shift in the Emergency Department per fortnight Skills and experience The successful candidate will:
Hold a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology degree (or overseas equivalent) Have at least one year nursing experience post-qualification Aim to deliver an exceptionally high standard of patient care Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Be a positive, supportive and encouraging team player #J-18808-Ljbffr
