* Working in a Restaurant would be preferred but not necessary

Job responsibilities include:

* Plan and organise the restaurant's daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and service flow.

* Develop and implement service standards to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency

* Supervise the activities of the kitchen, dining, and service staff to ensure effective operations.

* Delegate tasks and coordinate with team members to maintain a high standard of service.

* Monitor customer satisfaction and handle complaints, aiming to create a positive dining experience.

* Promote and maintain good customer relations to encourage loyalty and repeat business.

* Recruit, hire, and train new staff, ensuring they understand service standards and health regulations.

* Assist in planning menus in consultation with chefs, keeping in line with customer preferences and cost requirements.

* Develop budgets, monitor sales, and control operating expenses to ensure profitability.

* Manage cash handling, including opening and closing cash registers, and prepare financial reports as required.

* Organise and promote special events or seasonal promotions to attract customers.

* Ensure compliance with local food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
