Our programme provides opportunities to expand your occupational therapy knowledge and skills in a range of clinical areas.The OT rotational programme has a variety of clinical areas and settings, including six month and 12 month rotations.About the Team/Service/LocationWaikato District is one of New Zealand's largest public hospitals, covering a large urban and rural community.Waikato District provides extensive allied health services.We are a friendly supportive team.About YouWe are seeking:Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.Experience of working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.An ability to grow from past clinical experiences.A new or recent graduate with a current annual practicing certificate (or is working through the process of obtaining).Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
