We are currently looking for a Full-Time Pastry Chef who is hands-on and has a keen eye for detail to help us deliver the best Guest Experience We welcome you to join us in the front row at SO/ Auckland and become a part of Accor's lifestyle brand collective Ennismore The Role: Organise each food service so that it runs efficiently and productively.Coordinate food production and kitchen brigade to meet food preparation and service requirements.Ensure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards.Prepare and cook all food orders with a sense of urgency.Check all food is stored and handled as per current food health and hygiene regulations.Ensure that work area, equipment and section is kept clean at all times, in accordance with current health and hygiene regulations.Monitor daily kitchen food and product requirements and advise Executive Chef of these well in advance.Monitor food preparation and wastage costs and control these by following efficient preparation methods and standard recipes.Assist with general prep while on shift including breakfast duties.The Person: Previous hotel kitchen experience (preferable).Previous pastry experience.A passion for baking and all things pastry.Excellent attitude and timekeeping as well as the ability to work under pressure.Immaculate presentation.A team player.Flexibility to work varied shift patterns including nights, days, weekends, and public holidays.SO/ BENEFITS Staff meal while on shift.Uniform provided and laundered.International accommodation and retail discounts across varying Ennismore & Accor Hotels properties.Family & Friends Hotel Discounts.Opportunities for further development and worldwide career progression within Ennismore/Accor.Annual reward of a free night's accommodation at the hotel and additional perksOur Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
