Support and help secure world-leading research projectsEngaging work that makes a difference, in a great team5 weeks annual leave + competitive superannuation + career opportunitiesNga korero mo te turanga - About the roleProvide support and advice to university staff for externally funded research contracts and maintain positive collaborative relationships with researchers, senior management, sponsors, and students.
As well as building effective client relationships with external funding providers and industry partners, ideally you will have demonstrated experience in dealing with research funding applications, project budgeting, and financial management.Salary will be in the range of $69,199 to $82,228 per year based on skills, knowledge, and experience brought to the position.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.For more information on the role please see the position description.

- Who are you?We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified person to join our team in supporting the growth of the University's research through proposal, budgeting, and project management support for our researchers.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident in your ability to connect with a range of stakeholders.You will have a relevant tertiary qualification, administration skills, and proficiency with software packages such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Other requirements of the position are excellent communication skills, both oral and written, together with attention to detail and accuracy in your work.Ko wai matou?
