The service has a strong focus on customer service, and its success is reliant on effective communication and teamwork.Coordinate resources to meet identified needs of patients and staffManage staff and patient flows on a shift-by-shift basis, both across the department and between wardsProvide clinical leadershipEstablish and maintain a high standard of patient-focused careContribute to the department's risk minimisation activities and service activitiesRole model and provide staff with clinical educational supportAbout youA current NZ APC and relevant postgraduate qualificationsA Senior Registered Nurse with significant experienceYou will bring a clear focused vision; strive for contemporary practice, and be 'firm, but fair,' with the ability to inspire staff, being their advocate when neededProven success in nursing leadership complemented by your knowledge of, and experience in, clinical quality, safety, and best practiceCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settingsWorking for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
