In this role, you will assist with our exciting events and will be either onsite or within the community.This is a permanent, full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
However, there may be occasions when weekend work is required, depending on the needs of the organization.He korero mou: About youAs Facility Administrator, you will be the face of Otara Music Arts Centre.

This role is primarily administrative.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including facility operations and managing bookings, taking registrations for music lessons, receiving payments for services, communicating with customers via email, phone, and face-to-face, and compiling written communications such as newsletters and social media updates.It is preferential that applicants have had at least two years of experience in an administration/front of house role.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office are essential, while a basic knowledge of Facebook advertising, Adobe design software, and/or other software is highly desirable.
Most importantly, you should have a positive and friendly attitude, good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, be confident, and enjoy working with people.Nga ahuatanga kei a matou: What we offerOwned and operated by the Auckland Council, Otara Music Arts Centre is the home of Village Studio where some of the most acclaimed South Auckland music has been recorded and produced.
We proudly organise and host a range of annual events, such as the Stand Up Stand Out high school music and dance competition – which the successful applicant will assist with delivering.
Weekly music classes are held onsite and we facilitate public workshops and programming throughout the year.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to make a personal difference towards the future of Auckland.Tono Mai.
