You'll be responsible for providing effective and efficient delivery of employment relations, performance management, learning and development, and supporting the planning and implementation of organisational development and change management initiatives.Reporting to the People Director in NZ and working closely with the People Team in Australia, you'll leverage your expertise to provide informed, best-practice advice, build strong relationships, and help develop innovative solutions that align with our strategic business objectives.What You'll Do:Workday Implementation: Spearhead the implementation and rollout of Workday across Ogilvy NZ, VML, and WPP NZ.
This includes:Collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and configure the system.
Managing data migration and ensuring data integrity.Developing training materials and delivering training to employees and managers.Troubleshooting issues and providing ongoing support.Project Support & Implementation: Partner on specific HR projects and system implementations, managing end-to-end people-related initiatives as needed.Performance Management Champion: Work with the team on the relevant Performance Management process, ensuring managers are equipped to lead effective discussions about performance, development, and KPIs.HR Expert & Advisor: Provide timely and accurate HR advice, guidance, and solutions to employees and managers, always adhering to legal parameters.Employment Relations Management: Effectively manage employment relations matters, collaborating with and educating managers throughout the process to achieve positive outcomes.Recruitment Support: Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support hiring managers in the recruitment process.HR Administration Excellence: Oversee HR administration processes, ensuring high-quality and consistent service, including preparing employment agreements, variation letters, and other documentation.
Continuously improve accuracy, processes, and response times.Onboarding: Oversee our employee onboarding process to ensure it's best-in-class, enhances employee performance, and boosts retention.
This includes preparing starter packs and managing compliance activities.Exit Interview Insights: Conduct and collate learnings from exit interviews to inform and continually improve our attraction and engagement strategies.DE&I Advocate: Support the roll-out of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) programs.Policy & Procedure Pro: Support the development and communication of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure effective, fair, and consistent management of all employees.Culture & Values: Work with the People Director to cascade and embed company values, creating programs to ensure employees live and breathe them.Engagement: Help execute employee engagement surveys, identifying what inspires and motivates our talent.What You'll Bring:Proven experience as an HR Advisor with expertise in HR and talent management.Hands-on HR operational and advisory experience.A track record of delivering an excellent, integrated, and client/stakeholder-focused generalist HR service.Experience with HRIS systems is essential.
Proficiency with Workday is highly desirable, but experience with other HRIS platforms will also be considered.Current knowledge of employment regulations, industry trends, and applicable HR laws.
