Advisor, Maori Health Business Partnering at Ministry of Health, Wellington Wellington based | Full-time | Permanent 4.4 weeks annual leave | Wellness allowance | WFH equipment contribution Salary midpoint of $79,653 actual salary dependent on your experience Ko tou ake mahi - What you'll do We are seeking a passionate Advisor – Maori Health Business Partnering to join our dedicated team working to advance hauora Maori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and equity across the Ministry of Health.
In this role, you will provide operational support to strengthen organisational capability to achieve pae ora (healthy futures) for Maori.
Collaborate with Principal and Senior Advisors to deliver high-quality, specialised hauora Maori, Te Tiriti, and equity advice and solutions.
Build and manage trusted relationships with people leaders, fostering effective communication and guidance across directorates.
Gather and analyse data to provide sound strategic and operational advice for project management and decision-making.
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of projects, programmes, workshops, tools, and frameworks to drive organisational success.
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes that align with the Ministry's priorities.
Minimum Requirements Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships Experience in working effectively as part of a team Proven organisational skills with the ability to think ahead, prioritise and meet deadlines whilst preserving high levels of accuracy and confidentiality Knowledge and understanding of central government, ministry and ministerial settings, and hauora Maori Knowledge of Te Ao Maori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi Understanding of equity and addressing differences in population health outcomes Discover a world of opportunities for personal and professional growth.
