You do this by coaching them on expected customer service behaviours and turning them into product experts.
You'll make sure your customers have team members to seek advice from in store, managing your rosters well to ensure sufficient coverage.
Your store is your pride and joy – you've got your eye on the floor making sure everything is spick and span.
You get your hands dirty, taking action on what needs to be done.What you can expect to do:Manage the day to day operations of the store delivering a compelling customer experienceCoach and empower your team to work, think and act safelyDevelop strategies and processes to ensure continuous improvementOversee the development of the wider team with a clear focus on growing the capability of all team membersPrepare budgets and maximise sales and profit through managing inventory, visual merchandising and marketingEngage the local community, and identify opportunities for community events and projectsWhat we need from you:Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on driving teams of over 50Previous experience in big box retail, or a multi-site leadership role in specialty retailA friendly, informal and consultative style when working with othersA proven record of building service focused teamsExperience in coaching and developing othersExperience in leading budgets and maximising profit growthThe ability to support and drive changeA strong safety awarenessFlexibility to work rotational rosters, public holidays and weekendsYou'll be part of a workplace where you'll feel like you belong.Bunnings strives to ensure everyone is treated fairly and our team are committed to supporting you at any stage of your recruitment journey.
