Senior Auditor About the role | Mo te mahi We are looking for a Senior Auditor who will be responsible for the delivery of assurance, advisory and consulting services across NHC Toka Tu Ake.
As the Senior Auditor, you will be expected to deliver end-to-end audit and assurance reviews; from planning to reporting, including working with to ensure optimal governance, risk and control environments that support the organisation's strategic and operational priorities.
This role will be located in our Wellington or Christchurch office.
The role will involve you to:
Provide independent assurance over the effectiveness of risk management and internal controls across NHC Toka Tu Ake, Insurance companies acting under agency arrangements and our business partners.Proactively work with the business to improve the control environment while maintaining independence.Contribute to the Risk and Assurance strategic/business planning process and ensure ongoing interaction with Risk and Compliance Teams.Enhance the internal and external image of the Risk, Compliance and Audit team by carrying out all duties in a professional and effective manner.To be successful in this role you will require the following:
Knowledge of internal auditing frameworks, experience in auditing techniques and use of auditing tools and software.Experience in conducting audits and process reviews and ability to manage individual audit assignments.Experience with information technology systems and best practices.Qualification with a relevant professional body such as: Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or equivalent overseas professional body; Certified Internal Auditor; Certified Information Systems Auditor; Certified Information System Security Professional.What's in it for you?
