The opportunity : We are embarking on a journey to grow the NZ advice community by supporting new Advisers to build a successful and rewarding career in financial advice.

The AIA Thrive Academy is the perfect stepping-stone for someone looking to become a financial adviser. We will provide you with a 4-week comprehensive classroom-based training programme, along with monthly financial support for your first 3 months.

Who can join the AIA Thrive Academy? If you care about making a difference in people's lives and share our vision for New Zealanders living healthier, longer, better lives, AIA Thrive Academy is right for you. For the first induction, the only mandatory requirements are:

New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (NZCFS Level 5 Version 2) (ie. Life, Disability and Health strand). Ability to attend a 4-week in-person training in Epsom, Auckland. To thrive in the role, you'll likely also bring:

A passion for helping New Zealanders protect what matters most. Exceptional written and oral communication skills and enjoy talking to people every day. Networking skills and developing meaningful connections. A growth mindset and willingness to learn. Resilience to rebound from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations. Genuine care and commitment to ensuring that customer needs are at the core of interactions and that any advice given is in line with AIA Thrive's compliance framework. We will provide comprehensive training to complement the skills you bring. Our solid reputation, coupled with a modern approach presents a unique opportunity for you.
