Auckland, New Zealand Vodafone New Zealand Limited Full time

Here at Te Rourou, One Aotearoa Foundation, our vision is to create an equitable Aotearoa for all rangatahi (young people). Over the past 22 years, we have worked across the width and breadth of Aotearoa to cultivate positive ecosystems of change by bringing our expertise and funding, as well as the backing of One New Zealand, to the communities who need us. Our role is to grow Aotearoa's ecosystem of rangatahi leaders and community champions by partnering with leading and innovative charities to deliver high-energy leadership development workshops and events, groundbreaking research to challenge and, at times, change the status quo, and through dedicated pathways into the tech sector both nationally and internationally. Occasionally, needing to roll up our sleeves and jump into our partner's worlds to lend them a hand. The Engagement and Operations Lead is the 'engine' of the Foundation and will provide executional, strategic, and administrative support to the Head of Foundation and Foundation team. The role will lead and own the day-to-day operations of the Foundation including managing events, supporting the maintenance of key external and internal stakeholders, supporting the delivery of the Foundation's communication strategy, and day-to-day administration of the Foundation. This role will lead the promotion, coordination, and delivery of key events to engage the Foundation's community partners and rangatahi, and where applicable to our community partners, proactively organise volunteering opportunities for One NZ's people across Aotearoa to create a 'better-connected' Aotearoa. The role will also support the Head of Foundation to implement the Foundation's Te Tiriti commitments through procurement, Hapu/Iwi engagement, and internal processes. Ko to mahi – what you'll do Lead the day-to-day administration of the Foundation. Support key business partnership activities to build and maintain awareness of the Foundation across One NZ. Coordinate key community partnership activities and events to promote the partnership between community partners and the Foundation. Maintain relationships with key One NZ stakeholders including Finance and Legal to ensure consistent communication across operational activities. Support budget management to meet strategic and end-of-year goals and expectations. Develop and lead a communication strategy to lift the Foundation's internal and external awareness. Develop and implement the Foundation's policies alongside the Head of Foundation. Na tou rourou - what you'll bring To be successful in this role you will need to be comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels, have confidence and be an advocate for our foundation across the business. Competent across Microsoft Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong attention to detail and results-oriented. Adaptable and able to work with conflicting deadlines. Event organization/management preferred but not required. An understanding of Te Ao Maori or a strong willingness to learn. A relevant tertiary qualification, or 3+ years' work experience in the same or similar roles required. At One New Zealand, we have a clear purpose to unlock the magic of technology to create an awesome Aotearoa. We've got Heart, showing up as our best selves in every situation. We have the Grit to deliver a radically better world for our customers. We embrace the Freedom to shape the future, creating a more progressive, more inclusive Aotearoa. Joining the One New Zealand whanau will stretch you, challenge you and provide opportunities you've been seeking to expand your career. You'll engage in unique workplace experiences, be exposed to exciting and innovative technology, and gain opportunities for learning beyond Aotearoa. #J-18808-Ljbffr
