What You'll Do: As a Technical Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to engage with key stakeholders and business users to understand their challenges and requirements.
You will play a crucial role in helping the organisation modernise its ICT and business systems by fully leveraging the benefits of migrations, new implementations, and cloud transformation.
This role will require significant collaboration with other members of the Digital & Data team, as well as working closely with project resources, business units, and external stakeholders.
Your focus will be on technology-related projects that align with the Digital and Data Road-map.
Conduct analysis and gather requirements essential for understanding the current state, problem statements, and opportunities of the organisation.Contribute to the development of business cases.Collaborate with project staff and stakeholders to maximise the benefits of transitioning to new technology.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external project stakeholders.Actively participate in project activities to ensure the assigned project or initiative is well-positioned for advancement.Identify issues, inefficiencies, opportunities, and solutions within Digital & Data, Programme Delivery teams, and staff.What You Bring: The ideal candidate for this Technical Business Analyst role will have demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst working on technology or ICT-related projects.
It is essential that you have work experience in New Zealand in a similar capacity.
You should have a profound understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Your proficiency in the Microsoft suite including; Project, Visio, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive is absolutely essential.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for this role, along with excellent active listening skills.
An organised individual with a natural inclination for planning, strategy, and tactics will thrive in this position.
