To do this, we know we need to take care of our people to form a team who are strong enough to care, operate as one team, and strive to do their best.We are looking for an energetic  Café Supervisor to join our Havelock North village catering team.
Ideally you will have experience in café operations, customer service, food control plans and ideally have a Barista qualification.You will be responsible for the daily operation of the on-site café: provide quality food and drinks and be part of a team providing exciting events for our residents.Shifts are 9:00am-3:30pm but roster can be tailored to cover seven days with Café assistantQualificationsExceptional customer service and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and organisation skills as well as the ability to multi-taskDemonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a teamDemonstrated high level of self-motivation and initiative to set and achieve goalsAbility to demonstrate experience at food preparation and hygiene standardsExperience in operating a café is desirable (but not essential)Barista QualificationCurrent Food Handlers certificateStrong IT skills (Word, Excel/Microsoft Office)Understanding food safety and have a high level of personal hygieneAdditional InformationTo recognise the important work that you do for our residents, we offer;An enthusiastic and supportive team that is fun to be part ofHealth cover, social sporting teams and discounts at a range of suppliers plus much moreIf you, or someone you know, are strong enough to care, then we would love to hear from you.
