Supervise, coach & lead the warehouse staff, both internal and external.Effectively plan and allocate resources to meet daily operational needs.Warehouse and 3PLMonitor the performance of 3PL and assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.Manage all warehousing activities and performance, effectively drive 3PL's execution.Ensure adequate warehouse capacity and optimize storage layout and planning at warehouses.Maintain accurate inventory control and associated warehouse inbound, outbound, and stock transfer processes.
Lead regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system stocks.Manage and prioritize incoming and outgoing shipments, meeting all customer requirements and on-time in full shipment delivery.Prepare weekly and monthly reports regarding warehouse operations.Ensure all receipts are completed in a timely manner.Investigate and relay any input and output imbalances.Logistics & TransportEnsure trucks are booked via SAP entry.
Ensure batches are matched based on priority and truck availability.Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods.General housekeeping of the warehouse.Liaise with suppliers when required.FreightPrepare quarterly freight rates in conjunction with 3rd party service provider.Ensure alignment with the global freight desk on market requirements.Work with the 3rd party service provider to ensure freight bookings are in place to meet OTIF targets.Key SkillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively and proactively in a team environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail.Experience & Knowledge3-5 years' experience managing 3PL warehouses and freight knowledge within FMCG/Dairy exporting will be an advantage.Knowledge of SAP and EWM and MS Office proficiency.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management / CSCP or equivalent.To be considered for an interview, you will have experience in supply chain, transport, or freight experience required.
SAP experience is an advantage.You will also have knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
