The ideal candidate is a technical expert who:Collaborates with Industry Stakeholders: Engages with industry stakeholders to stay well-informed about regulations and standards.Product Knowledge: Maintains an in-depth understanding of product features, capabilities, and specifications.Standards Development: Actively participates in working groups to develop new standards and communicates relevant updates to business teams.Research & Analysis: Reviews regulations and standards to create documentation that facilitate product compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.Technical Writing: Demonstrates strong technical writing skills through proficient documentation and information management.What you can look forward to:Innovative Environment: Join a team at the forefront of clean energy technology, working on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of sustainable energy.Professional Growth: Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities, including attending industry conferences, participating in technical committees, and collaborating with experts in the field.Collaborative Culture: Work in a supportive and dynamic environment where your ideas and expertise are valued.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence.Global Influence: Be part of a company with a global footprint, influencing standards and regulations across multiple countries and regions.Sustainability Mission: Play a key role in advancing Enphase Energy's mission to create a more sustainable future through innovative energy solutions.What you will need to do it well:Maintain Knowledge: Stay updated on international regulations, with a detailed understanding of Grid Connection standards.Committee Participation: Engage in relevant national and international standards committees to capture evolving regulatory requirements.Lead Compliance Efforts: Promote early compliance by raising awareness of requirements from existing and developing standards.Develop Compliance Strategies: Formulate and recommend compliance strategies that align with the company's strategic product roadmap, including products, geographies, and timelines.Contribute to Documentation: Ensure relevant standards are referenced in Engineering Requirements Documents.Guide Teams: Use detailed knowledge of standards and industry best practices to guide Engineering and Testing teams towards standards compliance.Interact with Verification Entities: Work with third-party accredited laboratories to ensure accurate interpretation of standards clauses.Maintain Documentation Library: Develop and maintain a documentation library that defines the conformity assessment framework for target countries and products.Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge with the team and the wider business through training and documentation.Skills/Qualifications:Educational Background: Degree, Masters, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Science, or equivalent.Experience: 5+ years of experience in Compliance/Homologation testing of photovoltaic systems or power supplies.Standards Knowledge: Comprehensive working knowledge of standards relevant to business products, including Grid Connection, safety, EMC, radio, measurement, efficiency, RoHS, etc.National Electric Code: Working knowledge of the National Electric Code and ability to work with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) is a bonus.Employee Benefits:Competitive salaries and quarterly bonuses.Opportunity to help develop state-of-the-art software and hardware systems.Opportunities for career growth and development.Medical insurance cover for yourself and your immediate family members.Annual merit reviews and increases.About Enphase Energy:Enphase Energy is a multi-national company with many global locations, sales and marketing, operations, and research and development.Find out more: https://enphase.com/en-au/companyQuestions?
