The primary objective of the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Coordinator is to support and manage work activities related to electrical systems, calibration, and instrumentation maintenance, while assisting with PLC and SCADA systems.

A key responsibility of the role is to provide technical support and guidance on electrical and instrumentation matters to customers, contractors, and Veolia staff in the Wellington region, including Operations and Capex Renewals teams. The E&I Maintenance Coordinator will manage the electrical and instrumentation maintenance team, ensuring all members are trained in proper maintenance procedures and calibration techniques.
Additionally, the E&I Maintenance Coordinator will collaborate closely with PLC and SCADA specialists, offering support and assistance as needed to maintain the integrity and efficiency of these systems. This may include coordinating with specialists for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and integration of new instrumentation.
Finally, the E&I Maintenance Coordinator will ensure that service delivery demonstrates the company's commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and customer service while meeting key performance indicators, in accordance with the company's vision and mission statements. This role will have a particular focus on enhancing the reliability and accuracy of electrical and instrumentation systems through rigorous maintenance and calibration practices.
What you'll need to be successful Qualifications: Bachelor of engineering degree and/or relevant tertiary qualificationDemonstrable experience in electrical and instrumentation systems (including PLC/SCADA) / related asset management and/or project delivery; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Experience: Experience in team managementExperience with electrical systems, technical solutions, Instrumentation, PLC/SCADA and/or project management and deliveryExperience in asset management and alignment with contract obligationsProven ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clientsPersonal Attributes: Ability to organise resources, establish priorities and meet deadlines.Ability to assess and assimilate a wide range of information and consolidate a position or assessment.A self-starter with an ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.Ability to handle stress and pressure with strong communication, people management, teamwork, and coaching skills.A commercial focus and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external clients and customers.A keen eye for detail and a desire for excellent customer service.Motivation and enthusiasm.Other relevant skills or information: Well-developed reporting and report writing skills.Understanding of quality assurance systems such as ISO9001 and ISO14001.At Veolia Australia and New Zealand, you'll join a team of over 6000 passionate innovators and good humans.
