The role Our Eden site in Mount Eden, Auckland is looking for an Activities Assistant to join their dedicated team on a fixed term basis working 40 hours per week What you'll be doing: Working closely with our Activities Team to create and implement fun and varied activities programmes for our residents Understanding residents' needs and abilities and encouraging them to take part in activities Following our company policies and procedures to create a safe environment for our residents.
What you'll bring: Previous experience in a similar role or industry Previous experience in planning and coordinating activities   Great people skills with empathy for the elderly   Excellent communication and IT skills    A vibrant and energetic personality   A clean NZ drivers' licence; you will need confidence to drive the Village van   Flexible multitasking skills Flexibility to work across 7 days Ability to lead and also take direction First Aid Certificate desirable  All applicants must have full working rights in New Zealand Oceania Careers Reimagining the Retirement and Aged Care Living experience in New Zealand.
