With 69 sites and 1300 employees across New Zealand and Australia, our sustained growth can be attributed to our superior service and dedication to continuous improvement across every facet of our business – and this always starts with people.This position is fulltime and permanent, the successful candidate will be based from our Vulcan site in Palmerston North.This role is Monday - Friday 10.30am - 7pm with opportunities for overtime.We require you to be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have a willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential as this role requires close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.Key Responsibilities: Ensure production procedures are carried out smoothly. Collaborate closely with co-workers. Maintain high standards of health and safety. Minimum Requirements: Forklift licence Good level of physical fitness – this is a physical job Good attention to detail Ability to work overtime if required Team player Good sense of humour Minimum full class 1 drivers licence Intermediate level of skill with technology Reliable Excellent understanding and adherence to health & safety procedures Experience leading a team Experience with an overhead gantry crane would be preferable We are committed to health and safety in our organisation.
