The Events Group Ltd – North Shore, North IslandThe Events Group is the go-to creative and execution business across the country for corporate events, team building and theming, bringing that extra something to their clients for almost 30 years.This role is based in Albany; you will be an integral part of the team in ensuring the great execution of events, across planning, preparation, event execution and post event evaluation. This will involve you creating detailed event plans, working with a range of suppliers including AV, venues, talent, and others including clients in ensuring an exceptional experience. You will be highly creative, great at detail and excel in admin, working with a range of software tools from MS Excel and Word to event planning tools. As you develop, you will get more involved in the creative side with increased responsibilities. It's a hands-on role, not 9-5 and some days run long from pack-in to pack-out of events you will be managing multiple clients at and events. Proven experience a mustYou will bring:Creativity and StyleGreat people skills and attention to detail – you can plan, write and work with numbers accuratelyStrong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook - you will develop skills in Proposal software & 3D Designer software for event projectsThe sort of personality that encourages people to do their best, without ego and with pride in your performance and your teamYou will have worked in the events industry perhaps in hospitality, tourism or the corporate arena and want to work with, and learn from the best, in being a true event professional.If you have produced any creative events, please send examples of your work along with your CV. We are looking for someone with the right personality, creativity and can-do attitude.
