About Our Role: St. Johns Hill Lifecare, located in Beautiful WhanganuiAM and weekend shiftsWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Diversional Therapist or an Activities Coordinator with a passion for caring for others, to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. You will have a positive compassionate attitude, the ability to make others smile, and be great at working with people. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents are cared for to the highest standard with kindness and patience, in a warm and caring atmosphere.
As a Diversional Therapist or an Activities Coordinator, you will ensure residents have opportunities to be involved in interesting and varied activities offered to them daily that meet their physical, cognitive, social, spiritual, and emotional needs, and encourage community involvement. This will include the planning, organising, and delivery of activities, outings, events, and involvement in community groups. This is a truly rewarding opportunity that brings a difference into the lives of others. Work together in a team to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for our residents.
