If so, we want to hear from youWe are looking for a Clinical Assistant to assist our General Practitioners in primary care.Permanent Position 32 hours per weekConveniently located on the Kapiti Coast, Team Medical is a locally owned practice working in association with Green Cross Health.We are an integrated family health centre passionately providing a full range of GP Care to our enrolled patients and Urgent Care for accidents and urgent medical needs to our community.
As a key health hub to the Kapiti Coast, our GP services typically operate Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm.
Our Urgent Care services operate 7 days a week from 8am - 8pm.
We also offer full X-Ray facilities on site.About the Position and You:We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Clinical Assistant to join our kaimahi.
You will have a professional positive attitude with outrageously good customer service skills.
The Clinical Assistant role is to support the Clinical team with clinical administrative tasks under the direction and delegation framework, which will contribute to support the delivery of a patient-focused service and ensure an efficient clinical workflow.
This role is an unregulated position, and responsibility will sit with the GP supervisor under the delegation policy.Key attributes include:Clinical administration experience and passion for primary care is desirableGreat communication skills at all levels with patients, their whanau, your whanau mahi colleagues and allied business partnersExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsCommitment to honouring Tiriti o Waitangi in delivery of healthcareCommitment to the principles and practices of health equityMedTech / Evolution experience preferredGood computer literacyWe offer excellent education opportunities, competitive remuneration, and a great team environment.To apply online, click the Apply Now button below.
