The PositionAn exciting opportunity for a Clinical Trials Principal Investigator (Early Phase) position in Auckland, New Zealand.You will provide medical, scientific, and strategic leadership to the organisation through the identification, selection, and execution of suitable clinical trials, focusing on first-in-human and early-phase trials. From the iconic Sky Tower piercing the skyline to the tranquil islands dotting the Hauraki Gulf, it's a haven for culture, adventure, and stunning landscapes, offering an unparalleled lifestyle experience.Essential CriteriaEligible for New Zealand medical practitioner registration with a current practicing certificate and professional indemnity cover. Must have substantial postgraduate experience, plus a suitable postgraduate qualification, in conducting first-in-human clinical trials; for example, one of the qualifications listed in the ABPI Guidelines for Phase 1 Clinical trials, 2018 edition.Thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH/GCP), and regulatory requirements. At least 5 years experience at a clinical research site, with experience as a Principal Investigator in first human clinical trials.
