This TC role involves looking after our well-established youth respite service and Whetu Marewa mobile and community outreach support service that works with young people aged 12-24 years and their whanau and peers to build resilience and increase well-being.As the TC you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our service.
Your responsibilities will include:Oversee direct Taiohi care so that they receive exceptional support in our community settings.Support the efficient and effective use of resources for the team while fostering innovation and improvement of service.Lead and support staff, including regular individual coaching to your team, recruitment, professional development and performance management to support the team to exceed their personal best in everything they do.You'll be reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager and receive the same coaching and support to achieve great mahi together.Develop and grow our services to meet emerging community needs.Grow strong and collaborative inter-sector networks and partnerships.This is a permanent, full-time position.
You will be working Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
Based in New Plymouth.
You will also contribute to an on-call roster.About You | Mou:We are looking for someone who is passionate about the wellbeing of our Taiohi and their whanau who are navigating mental health challenges.
If you also bring along the following, we are interested in hearing from you:HPCA regulated health practitioner, registered with a current APC (Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social worker, DAPANZ or other)Relevant work experience, including at least one year's experience in mental health, AOD, disability, health care and/or social servicesExperienced leader who can support, manage and inspire a team.You'll ideally have demonstrated the ability to work well with other services such as Health New Zealand/Te whatu ora, PHOs, and the wider youth community and social sector.Relevant experience in leadership and managing others.A relevant qualification in leadership, management or a clinical qualification.HPCA Clinical registrationRole model wellbeing and leadership, and support our kaimahi to do the same.Full clean driver's license.Position Description: View here.Closing Date | Ra Katinga: Friday, 7th March 2025.
