We empower people to be themselves within an inclusive and supportive environment, enabling everyone to achieve their full potential in line with their abilities and career aspirations.This role will be a hybrid position with a minimum of 50% of time to be spent in the office and will be based in any of DWF's regional offices (Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle).ResponsibilitiesThe Public Sector is one of the firm's biggest growth areas over recent years with the firm actively servicing 19 national and regional framework agreements (including CCS RM6179, 6240, Welsh Government, Scottish Government, EmLawshare, LBLA, NEPO and others) which leads to significant sales to public sector bodies in the UK and Strategic Suppliers to Central and Local Government clients.Please do let us know if you are interested in joining the firm's Procurement Centre of Excellence of over 30 specialist procurement lawyers which allows the firm to act in a coherent and co-ordinated manner as it:offers a significant internal and external training programme for colleagues and clients alike – see link to programme of public sector webinars in 2024;hosts regular training from leading barristers on leading case law updates;ensures that articles and Thought Leadership are focused on the leading issues of interest to our clients;operates an internal Procurement Portal (containing an extensive set of procurement precedent documents and advice);maximises the quality of our response to requests from our public sector clients and Strategic Suppliers to Central and Local Government.What will help you succeed in this role?We are keen to hear from candidates who have a good understanding of public procurement law who wish to further develop their procurement expertise within a supportive and positive environment.What we offer?At DWF, we deeply appreciate the significance of offering a comprehensive rewards package that extends beyond a basic salary.
