Responsibilities:You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving quality meals for our customers.You will need to be able to cook within budget.Assist with ordering and menu development as well as ensure the health and wellbeing of our customers through allergen and nutrition management.You will also be catering for functions as required, and assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.Experience with creating salads, sandwiches, and café style cabinet food.Experience in baking and pastry is definitely a bonus.Be hard-working, reliable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Experience in buffet, à la carte, and interactive cooking.Have an excellent understanding of all hygiene, health, and food safety practices in a food environment.Demonstrate a passion for food, people, customer service, and quality.Have excellent communication skills.Preferably hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168).About Us:We are New Zealand's leading and largest provider of food and support services across multiple industries.These industry sectors are managed by our sub-brands Eurest, Chartwells, Restaurant Associates, Medirest, and ESS.We specialise in turning ordinary acts of service into extraordinary experiential moments for our clients.
